Forty-oneofficers and men of the Rwanda Air Force (RAF) Thursday completed courses in Air force logistics science and management.

The officers were trained at the Kicukiro Training Facility (KTF) under the instruction of Hindustan College of Engineering (HCE), a unit of Hindustan Group of Institutes.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of General Staff, Gen. James Kabarebe, congratulated the candidates for their efforts.

He observed that their achievement was important in advancement of RAF's routine air operation activities, and urged them to always be ready and willing to fully apply the acquired knowledge and skills for the good of the air force.

"We as leaders of RDF are also ready to support you in your daily duties," he promised.

The KTF Director, Capt. Jack Nzitonda, said it was a great feat for the officers to have completed the course despite studying from a poorly facilitated school.

He said that the school has a capacity for only 96 trainees, but currently it has a total of 200. He urged the graduands to implement whatever they had learnt for the development of the country.
