A genocide suspect from the Rwanda uprising in 1994 has been arrested in Germany.
Callixte Mbarushimana, a hutu, is allegedly responsible for the deaths of several tutsi tribespeople.
He was arrested at Frankfurt airport, where he wanted to take a flight to St. Petersburg in Russia.
Mr Mbarushimana has already been arrested by the Rwanda tribunal in the Tanzanian city of Arusha.
At the time, he worked as a UN official in Kosovo.
A year later the tribunal dropped the prosecution case due to lack of evidence but recently had issued an international warrant for his arrest.
