Oprah Donates $1 Million to NJ Town

As posted earlier, Oprah spoke at Stedman's hometown reunion in Whitesboro, New Jersey in August to a crowd filled with hundreds of townspeople and fans of her show. Besides a speech filled with inspiring words and encouragement, Oprah also pledged to donate $1 million dollars to the town's scholarship fund which typically receives around $15,000 a year as reported by the Associated Press.
