Oprah's Mother Being Sued

Oprah's mom, Vernita Lee, is being sued. Apparently Lee ran up a bill at Valentina Inc. in Wisconsin for over $150,000 and was expected to pay the tab off in $2,000 increments, but stopped paying. The store has filed a lawsuit against Lee and she has in turn hired 3 lawyers to prove that she doesn't owe the store anything. It's surprising to think that Oprah would not have acted on this right away and allowed her mother's name to be all over the tabloids.
