Translating Job Opportunity in US

My name is Patrick Mureithi, and I'm a Kenyan documentary film-maker based in Springfield, MO. I am currently working on a documentary called "ICYIZERE: hope," and it is about a gathering in Gisenyi of 10 survivors and 10 perpetrators of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, with encouraging results. Through addressing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and conducting a series of group exercises that help to build trust, the workshop brings participants to a place where they realize that:

a) they are more similar than different

b) they are ALL, victim and aggressor, suffering from trauma, and

c) the most effective way to overcome their trauma is by making an effort to forgive each other and work toward rebuilding trust within their communities.

I need a translator for my documentary.

The translator in question needs to:
a) Be fluent in English as well as in Kinyarwanda
b) Have a thorough understanding of issues related to the genocide, and of Rwandan culture
c) Know about the propaganda that was used before and during the genocide
d) Be willing to live in Springfield for at least 3 months as I edit the film, and
e) Be willing to accept a salary of $1500 per month. Airfare, food and lodging will be paid for. They will be a guest of Drury University need a translator for the documentary.

Murakoze cyane,
Patrick Mureithi
