Vodacom Miss Tanzania set for August 2

This year`s Vodacom Miss Tanzania will be staged on August 2 in Dar es Salaam. The coordinator of Miss Tanzania, Hashim Lundenga, said in Dar es Salaam yesterday the venue of the event would be known later.

He said this year`s contest would attract 28 aspirants instead of 26. Two more contestants from abroad, one from England and the other from Schengen countries.

He said prizes for the winners would be announced soon by the event`s main sponsors, Vodacom Tanzania and co-sponsors.

The reigning Miss Tanzania is Richa Adhia while Victoria Martin is Redd`s Ambassador.

Co-sponsors are Air Tanzania Corporation Limited (ATCL), Redd\'s and Mariedo.
