A prestigious private security company in Rwanda, is looking for high calibre candidates to fill the vacancies of : Technical & Communication Manager , and Operations Manager. 1. Position: Technical & Communication Manager
Reporting to the General Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • To head Technical department and take full charge of the entire departmental functions, and ensure proper liaison with company departments particularly sales & marketing and operations department.
  • Supervise, train and manage all technicians
  • To organise and coordinate the duties and tasks of technicians under your department.
  • To install and maintain at Clients premises company products which include:
  1. o Automatic/manual radio alarms,
  2. o Automatic gates,
  3. o Surveillance cameras,
  4. o Access Controls
  5. o Car alarms etc
  • To maintain and repair electrical equipments in company offices.
  • To install and maintain all equipment in the control room at company head office.
  • To install and maintain VHP radio equipment in alarm response vehicles.
  • To familiarize company products with current and prospective clients.
  • To establish and maintain close relationship with company clients in accordance to their security needs vis-a-vis expectations.
  • To advise clients on matters relating to company products and services
  • To make surveys for clients in need of Hi-Tech equipment.
  • To submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the General Manager
  • Establish good relationships with regulatory bodies and uphold company's image.
  • Together with the General Manger and BOD, develop new opportunities for company's products and services.
  • To manage, motivate and train technical staff to acquire new skills and induce into therrj the teamwork spirit.
  • Any other duty that might be assigned to you by management
Qualifications and Skills desired
The following minimum qualifications are required:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical engineering,
  • Practical knowledge and experience of at least four years in the same or related field, including international exposure.
  • Must be conversant with computer applications and labour determina¬tion; dispatch of responsibility paramount to the company and its clients.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills vis-a-vis good problem solving and negotiation skills, innovativeness with interest in new technologies, products and methods.
  • Prerequisite; to advise the management about inspection, and work review contracted in compliance with the company and other regulatory bodies.
  • She/he must be fluent in English; working knowledge of French will be a desirable attribute.
2. Position: Operations Manager
Reporting to the General Manager

Key responsibilities include:
  • To head the operations department and take fiill charge of its entire functions including coordination with other departments particularly sales and marketing department.
  • To develop, implement security strategies and manage an efficient and effective guarding and backup services.
  • To develop«and execute security plans tailored on specific client needs.
  • To prepare department's budgets and reports and submit them to the General Manager.
  • To advise company management on matters regarding staff, Security guards' appraisals, guarding criteria and procedures.
  • To make regular security surveys and risk evaluations at specific client's premises and make recommendations on specific needs and/or improvements.
  • To conduct reviews, planning and approvals of security staff posting and duty scheduling.
  • To coordinate company operations in accordance with national security organs requirements.
  • To develop and ensure implementation of appropriate training programs for the security staff.
  • To ensure suitable deployment plans for the security staff.
  • To ensure regular reporting and monitoring of occurrences.
  • To regularly analyse security risks at clients and make corrective actions.
  • Submission of regular and timely management reports.
  • Any other duty that might be assigned to you by management.
Qualifications and Skills desired
The following minimum qualifications are required:
  • A graduate in any field, must be capable of security planning, execution and monitoring experience,
  • Has the role to control the internal and outsourced security concerns of the clients.
  • Must be capable of formulating overall security policy for the company; develop and promulgate security standards and practice, and any experience of/to have served in any national police or Army will be an added advantage.
  • Have at least 5 years of proven security experience working in first changing environment.
  • She/he must be fluent in English; working knowledge of French will be a desirable attribute.
